Daughter Young
Biographical Information: DAUGHTER YOUNG (? MARY PURVIS YOUNG). [Note: She does not appear as a petitioner along with her brothers in the court action (March 1866) against Thomas Purvis Bruce (see 1.1.3.1.1.6. above), executor of the will of her great uncle John Purvis (see 1.1.3.7.2. above), and yet (if she existed) she would have been an heir as her mother's survivor. Perhaps she was a granddaughter (rather than daughter), being daughter of either William Young (see 1.1.3.7.4.3.1. above) or James Young (see 1.1.3.7.4.3.2. above). She may ? have been the Mary Purvis Young who married a Mr Hill and as Mary (? or May) Purvis Hill (i.e. married name) witnessed the death of her great aunt Anne or Anna Maria Blackie (or Blaikie) Mackay (see 1.1.3.7.4.4. below) in 1908]. Married ….. Hill, having one daughter (and perhaps other children):-
