Biographical Information: HENRY SPEIRS, born 7th February 1824 at Kinghorn, Fife, Scotland, baptised 6th April 1824 at Kinghorn, probably died before October 1870 when his brother Alexander Speirs (see 1.1.3.7.3.3. below) was described as “only surviving child of Mary Spears” (sic). No record of death in Scotland 1855-70. He may possibly have gone (c.1849) to Australia.
