Married 2nd (2nd January 1948 at Messias Kirke, Charlottenlund, Copenhagen, Denmark) Merete Saurbrey (born 25th August 1925 in Copenhagen), living (2011) at Pitmullen, Boarhills, near St Andrews, Fife, elder daughter of Justus Lannes Saurbrey (born 1892, died 1984) and Marie Elizabeth Gjørup (born 1894, died 1986) of Copenhagen, having two sons:-
