Biographical Information: ETHEL ISABELLA PURVIS, born 27th November 1860 at Kinaldy, Cameron Parish, St Andrews, Fife, Scotland, died 21st March 1913 at 23 Chester Street, Edinburgh, Scotland. After marriage they lived at Pitmillie, Boarhills, near St Andrews, and then at Lathallan, Largoward, Fife. When her mother died (1905), they rented Kinaldy for a time. Married (9th March 1886 at Kinaldy, having been postponed a week because of heavy snow) Thomas Jeffrey (died September 1924) of Edinburgh, brewer, having two children:-
