Married (29th April 1908 at St Andrews United Free Church, Drumsheugh Gardens, Edinburgh) John Fleming Philip (born 24th April 1878 in Glasgow, Scotland, died 9th February 1962 at 193 Bruntsfield Place, Edinburgh), United Free Church of Scotland Minister of the United Free Manse, Prestonpans, East Lothian, Scotland, educated in Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland, at Harris Academy, Dundee, Scotland, graduate (M.A. 1900) of the University of St Andrews, St Andrews, Fife, Scotland, of New College, Edinburgh, and of the University of Marburg, Marburg, Germany, licensed (1904) by the Presbytery of Arbroath and Forfar, Angus, ordained and inducted (1906) in Prestonpans, transferred (1912) to Keith North Church, Keith, Banffshire, Scotland, served in World War I with Scottish Churches Huts in France (1917-19), inducted (1920) to South Morningside Church, Edinburgh, transferred (1931) to Crieff South Church, Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland, retired (1945), Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) University of St Andrews, St Andrews (1952), and living (c.1922/29) at 53 Braid Avenue, Morningside, Edinburgh, and (1951 and 1962) at 193 Bruntsfield Place, Edinburgh (when he died described as retired Minister of the Church of Scotland), son of James Philip, United Free Church of Scotland clergyman, and Margaret Wilson and/or Guthrie, having no children.
